New Year...new car!

After quite a lot of looking around and thinking I finally decided to exchange my big (old) Picasso for a little (new) Hyundai i10!

It has been named "Tardis" because according to Abi, it is "bigger on the inside that it looks on the outside"!!  Also it's the right colour too! I think this also makes me a Timelord...so just call me The Doctor from now on!

Good friends

It is good for the heart and good for the soul to spend time with precious friends.  Amanda, my lovely friend from college came over for the day.  We walked down to Gloucester Cathedral, where I took a picture in the glorious light.  Then we headed to a cosy cafe where I had a delicious salted caramel hot chocolate and a marshmallow twizzle!

Such a good time of catching up!

Flooding down the lane

Over the past few weeks we've had a lot of rain in Gloucester and I finally made it up the road to the farm, about 500 yards or 300m away from our house round about when the flood water was beginning to recede.  These are the pictures I took across the fields in the late afternoon sun:
