Managed to get sorted in time for our family visit to London to celebrate both my mum's birthday and Christmas the weekend before Christmas itself. We had a lovely time - and our 'Christmas before Christmas' felt extra special because of the snow!
It was nice to visit my 'old' church and introduce Andy to friends and catch up with what's been going on.
Christmas itself was lovely - but sadly no snow! It was great to celebrate as a family and to begin to get to know each others different ways to celebrate.
Then we went off to Ramsey to visit Andy's family. We stayed overnight with his mum and met up with his brother and family too.
So, all in all, quite a few miles covered - but worth it!
