An interesting mix today - though why I said that I have no idea - the main thing about this placement is the variety of different things that I've been able to take part in!
Well, we started the day with a complicated maths puzzle that foiled most of the staff, let alone the students, and then had a yoga session together in the yard. It was quite funny watching everyone wobbling about trying to do the different positions. The photo is the 'right way up' as that is how I took it as I was in the same position at those in the picture!
After yoga we tried the different breads that were made yesterday - very nice!
Then we dug up some potatoes that the children had been growing for the past few months. These were being grown for a school competition so they were carefully washed and weighed and then we cooked them - making chee
se and potato pie, potato salad and one solitary baked potato as there was only one that was big enough! There was just enough time to try everything before home time.Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to do the line dancing and because I was in the kitchen as 'head chef' I missed the fruit tasting - but all the children have made a fruit kebab which they will be having tomorrow for a snack - wonder if they'll share?!!
