My first day at school!

I started the first part of my block placement today, but I didn't have to travel far. I'm working in the school reintegration unit for Gloucester which is opposite Redcliffe College - so the route to work will be familiar to say the least!

Today I've had a go at spelling, poetry writing, mushroom growing and flapjack making - quite a variety!


The staff team made me feel very welcome and I enjoyed meeting the children. I'm feeling quite tired at the moment after such a busy day, but I am looking forward to getting more involved in the next few weeks.
