Opposite the church is a hill that is notorious for drug dealers and drug taking. The church has been asked to improve the area and Tiofila, the pastor's wife, has had the idea that I could paint a mural on the rocks at the bottom of the hill to brighten the place up.The rocks are about 30m long!!! To give you an idea of scale there are more rocks behind where I'm standing to take the picture and there is a person just in view on the left. It's a bit much for me to manage on my own in a week(!), so I'll be starting the project this coming Wednesday with some of the teenagers and leave them with some ideas to carry on. It's awesome to be asked to do this and Tiofila is really grateful to God for sending them an artist who can help them with this - I'm really excited and already have loads of ideas!!!
