Paul and Sarah's apartment is on the first floor and the picture of the plants is the patio outside my window and the bedroom is where I'm staying - it has a beautiful traditional bedspread.
It doesn't actually 'rain' here because Lima is in a desert! I'm told that sometimes there is a fine kind of mist that feels sort of damp! But it's not real rain :) as we know it...

It's great to see where you're staying: makes it seem a lot more real.
I also note that (unlike Gloucester) it is NOT raining!!!
