Once we'd arrived (thankfully in one piece) we set up the art activity based on the story of the lost shepherd.
Sarah wasn't sure if a lot of children would come but we had about 30 or so in the end which was a little tricky to handle as we'd set up a painting activity.
After they'd painted some pieces for a mural to be displayed for Sunday when the first family service will be held at the church, they got on with painting pictures to take home. Mixing powder paint on request requires a high degree of skill, especially when you are also expected to take the pictures already painted and put them somewhere to dry with your other hand!! Oh, and understand what they're asking for in Spanish too!!
Once the children had gone home we cleared up the mess(!) and headed back through the city to Paul and Sarah's apartment. We are going to be do even more planning for tomorrow
I've got to draw up a Peruvian shepherd tonight so I'll be getting on with that once I've posted this.

Definitely like my days at T-a-B, painting, chaos, pictures everywhere. But certainly less stressful than your bus/motorbike journey sounds: rather you than me!!
