Long overdue...

Just felt that the blog needed a fresh look so with a few minutes to spare I've had a bit of a fiddle around with the design and have come up with a few changes. I've chosen a map and compass as the background to reflect my current thinking on discipleship as journey. Having been recently appointed as discipleship deacon at my church, for the past little while I've been thinking about what exactly discipleship is - and what I've discovered so far is that it is a difficult thing to define. What is most clear is that discipleship is a journey - but it's not primarily linear, but rather a more organic process. I'm due to meet with my church leadership team next week with my initial thoughts so I'd better stop musing on here and get back to preparing something for discussion. Hopefully I'll post some thoughts in due course.
